Parish Mission

  • We will be a worshipful parish where God is honoured and all His people welcomed, accepted and affirmed.

  • We will help God’s people identify their gifts and provide opportunities for spiritual growth and direction.

  • We will appreciate our Christian heritage and faithfully share it with those who are being welcomed into the Anglican family.

  • We will seek to be faithful to the “Good News” of Jesus Christ to help others come to know Him as Lord and Saviour.

  • We will follow Christ as He reveals His will through Scripture, prayer, and the counsel of the Holy Spirit.

  • We will be agents of reconciliation and healing to a hurting world.

  • We will be responsible stewards of all God’s resources.

The Five Marks of Mission of The Anglican Church of Canada

The Five Marks of Mission are a framework used to describe and encourage ministry throughout the worldwide Anglican Communion. They are as listed;

  1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom

  2. To teach, baptize and nurture new believers

  3. To respond to human need by loving service

  4. To seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and to pursue peace and reconciliation

  5. To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth

The ministry of Christ Church is to seek and enjoy God’s love together through scripture, worship, and prayer, and to extend God’s love outside the parish through the power of the Holy Spirit – to know Christ and to make Him known.
