The Common Table

Do you hear that still small voice calling, because we hear it too.  However going to church maybe seems a step too far right now? That voice  beckons us to look way back to when the common table held rich and  poor; seekers, sinners and saints;  male and female (and everyone  in-between). Whether dark skinned or light, we all sat together and  talked. During the first three hundred years of Christianity, people  followed the Jesus’ “dinner table’ approach to church, in which  strangers and friends gathered around the table and with food and drink –  great discussions grew from small questions. Once per month we will bring together all sorts of people hoping to heal the chasm between the "secular world" with the faithful of all kinds.
